If you ever wondered what's the life of your sling or when to retire that fluffy rope than this evening will explore these areas and equip you with further knowledge to make better decisions about your climbing kit. 

(Please note this is not a PPE course rather an opportunity to increase your knowledge as a recreational climber)

Matt Jones of https://www.govertical.co.uk  will be our host for the evening, he is a person of many talents, an active climber and mountaineer who is still on his ‘year out’, he holds the MCI award, is a member of AMI and is a qualified and experienced PPE Inspector.

Also if you’ve climbed anywhere around The Great Orme, you’ve probably either climbed one of his routes or one that he’s bolted!
