WORKSHOP CONTENT & LEARNING OUTCOMES - we are running 2 concurrent peer-led night navigation workshops - no cost - develop and practice night nav strategies .....on and off paths. Attendees should at least have completed the training for schemes such as Lowland Leader / Hill & Moorland Leader / Mountain Leader, (or broadly equivalent), as this is not an introduction to navigation workshop. There will be 2 groups, with a maximum size of 8 in each group.

EQUIPMENT/KIT REQUIRED - please equip yourself for 3 hours on the hill noting the weather forecast - no huge distances are covered as we concentrate on short leg navigation and relocation practices. Warm clothing / waterproofs / charged up headtorches / compass / Harvey or OS map required preferably 1:25,000 or 1:40;000 - Harvey Pentland Hills / OS Explorer Map 344

CATERING/FOOD - please provide your own refreshments.
