WORKSHOP CONTENT & LEARNING OUTCOMES: This environmental hill day will be a half day in the hills with discussions about Ireland and the UK’s hills and how they are being impacted by current climate events. We will discuss how we can adapt and mitigate our own footprint as mountain professionals. We will also explore how landscapes have changed over geological time, and what rocks and other geological features can tell us about environmental change, all while enjoying the great outdoors, followed by an optional coffee and chats.
EQUIPMENT/KIT REQUIRED: Bring all the equipment you normally bring for a day/night in the hills.
CATERING/FOOD: Bring your own snacks and drinks. Afterwards those who wish can head to a local coffee shop for some tea/coffee and cake.
