I have done four winter seasons snowboard mountaineering one in Chamonix in 1998/99 we hired a Guide on our first two times on the Vallee Blanche which involved avalanche and crevasse rescue i still have my ortovox F1 and shovel we did numerous trips on the Mer de Glace some with aspirant guides mostly Le petit or Le Grand Envers du plan area as this was much easier on a board, from Le Grand Montets both side of this glacier all couloirs on the Les Drus side sometimes had to abseil to exit these descents, on the aiguille rouge side of the valley hiking most of the couloirs and Cols and the Argentiere off piste and Two days in Verbier on the back side of Mont Fort area and Les Portes du Soleil France & Switzerland in 2015/16/17/18 worked with french and British IML in winter. i am a Course Director for the Summer Mountain Leader Award And have been a ginny pig for an number of aspirnt MIC before their assessments
