Description

Ascent from the quiet Gschnitztal from Gschnitz. Climbed towards the innsbruckerhutte at 2370m before the scramble ridge to the summit. Below the summit was the remains of a glacier which we crossed on the descent, on ascent we took the ridge line above the ice. No problems in walking boots, gentle angle and soft snow. There were sections of cableway on the ascent. The scrambling was continuous for the 900m ascent from the hut but nothing more than grade 1 / fascile.
