Hello.
I am the founder and director of Nature’s Work, one of the UK’s leading outdoor education and training consultancies.

Based in North Wales, I have over twenty years’ experience working in field studies, ecology and the outdoor industry. My innovative outdoor learning programmes benefit both teachers and pupils from primary and secondary schools, using nature to engage and inspire students with wider learning goals. I also train the outdoor industry on ecology, the environment and sustainability issues.

I hold an MSC in Conservation and Land Management from University of Wales, Bangor and am a qualified Winter Mountain Leader and have led expeditions all over the world. I'm currently writing a book on alpine botany and regularly contribute to the Professional Mountaineer and Horizons, the flagship publication of the Institute for Outdoor Learning.
I can be contacted on jim@natureswork.co.uk or www.natureswork.co.uk
