Jim is a very lively and enthusiastic person and shows his passion for the outdoors and enviroments by sharing the extensive knowledge he has. He is a volunteer member of MRT and has done a lot of delivery to MTA and IOL members. Jim has also travelled and worked abroad extensively. We have shared some great times in the hills in Wales and the Lakes.

I have known Jim as a friend for over 15 years in which time I have trained and assessed him for his Single Pitch and Summer Mountain Leader awards. Jim is a first class instructor, working technically at a high standard. He has a huge passion for the outdoors and the environment and is it obvious that he is keen to share this with the people he meets and works with. Jim is a confident, enthusiastic and energetic teacher / leader in the outdoors. He is very good with people, and communicates well. I wish him all the best! Phill George IFMGA / MIC
