Description

Group of 5 for RAW Adventures. Originally planning Crib Goch, but gusty high winds put paid to that, so an alternative and equally exciting plan was hatched!
Started at Ogwen Cottage, headed to Bochlwyd, then took y Gribin up to Glyder Fawr, returning via the screes and Devil`s Kitchen, crossing the Idwal Stream to the east side of Llyn Idwal back.
Much enjoyed by everyone!

Area : Glyderau

The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
