Evening scramble up the North Ridge of Tryfan. Sarah had suggested my "2-hour circuit" tonight, but I had to pick a route that would match her fitness and speed (Sarah isn`t a speed scrambler!). The 2-hour estimate turned into 2 hours to the summit, followed by about 80 minutes to descend the West Gully back to the Ramp Car Park, with a short walk along the A5 to our original Milestone Buttress parking. Still and excellent time, and Sarah thoroughly enjoyed re-discovering the Canon Stone, the Slabs, and Adam and Eve.
Reg & Nanw (the #dogsofsnowdonia) were with us too. Sunset was at approx 2025, so we had a short walk back in the dark (with headtorches!).
Arrived back at 2130, 3 hours and 20 minutes after we left.

Glyderau
The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
