CRAIG WEN
Group members: Equals - Matthew Glenn
Wind Speed: 20-25mph
Visibility: Good during the day but navigated our way back at night.
Equipment used: Crampons and ice axe was needed.
Weather: Clear and settled, cloud lifting to above summits by mid day.
Temperature: -2
Notes:
Crossing the welsh highland railway we walked up the path and towards the summit of Craig Wen our decent involved a very steep decent down to Craflwyn Hall, as night fell we navigated our way down which was quite challenging due to features being very insignificant so contour interpretation was vital.
Navigation was used throughout the day.
