Weather: Settled and clear, but cold in exposed areas of wind.
Temperature: -2 at 850m
Starting at Moel Eilio using a track as our hand rail we followed it up towards the summit of Moel Eilio then towards Foel Goch and down a track towards a the saddle of Foel Goch were we were able to use the Llyn Dwythwch water catchment as a feature reaching the saddle. from the saddel we decended to the water catchment and using the stream as a hand rain followed it down the snowdon mountain railway and back to Llanberis.
Navigation and map skills were used throughout the day.
