The one-time crucible of Welsh climbing. The fine crags of the Pass are easily accessible from the road. On the north side, the principal crags are: Dinas y Gromlech (bearing the famous line of Cenotaph Corner), Carreg Wastad (flat rock) and Clogwyn y Grochan. Further down the valley is Craig Ddu (black rock). On the south side, the principal 'roadside' cliff is Dinas Mot.
VS 4c-4c-4c-5b. Lead all 4 pitches. Lovely route, although the smeary boulder start to the final pitch is committing and tough, especially when the rain arrives to grease it up a bit!
