Description

Another adventure with Ian D, joined by CMC club members Mike B and Alun W. Glorious weather. This is a proper mountain adventure! I led P1, 3, 5 (the slab pitch). Some of the others were a bit meaty!

Area : Llanberis Pass

The one-time crucible of Welsh climbing. The fine crags of the Pass are easily accessible from the road. On the north side, the principal crags are: Dinas y Gromlech (bearing the famous line of Cenotaph Corner), Carreg Wastad (flat rock) and Clogwyn y Grochan. Further down the valley is Craig Ddu (black rock). On the south side, the principal 'roadside' cliff is Dinas Mot.
