Bivvy hut 2600m. Summit 3200m via 5 towers.
Started at 0640. Summit at 1300. Guide book time 8-10 hrs.
Crux on 4th tower. 3 pitches of V.
Stu went off rte on the 3rd, going R from a L facing dihedral around an awkward and airy bulge onto some delicate climbing. Ali and Ross went L.
Stu pulled a hold and fell on the following pitch. His one nut held. The rock it was in was loose - whether that was as a result of the fall I don`t know but it was a scary moment.
Straight forward to summit. Rapid descent. Back at car just after 1700 having left summit just after 1330.
Beautiful rock, fine climbing, beautiful situation and wild and remote compared to Chamonix.
