Had a day before walking up Mam Tor followed by a camp. Second day was a navigation day up Kinder Scout from Edale. Focusing on timings, pacings and bearings. Spent most of the day up on the plateau doing micronav.

Is situated between Sheffield and Manchester. The underlying rock is Millstone grit which is often exposed at the edge of the higher peat bogs for which the area is famous.
