Headed up this at sunset, in squally weather, with a light dusting on snow on the ground. The north westerly winds across the summit ridge made the going hard work, and lots of spindrift made visibility bad also.
Was pretty exciting to be up in the dark and wild conditions, just the 2 of us, myself and husband.
Needless to say we didnt hang around at the top, the ground was scoured but slippy, with lots of snow in the summit shelter.
didnt need spikes or crampons to get down with careful foot placements.
5 hours exactly up and down.
