through day. Fresh overnight snow ontop of well established snow

5-6hrs, with stop for bite to eat and tea on Blencathra
Group – Alt lead on Sharp edge, with final
variation onto Grade ll/III left
headwall at the end of the ridge. Full winter gear requiring ice axe and Crampons on short rope moving together.
. Limited belay stances, with long run outs.
