Description

Took my girlfriend to wales for a couple of days mountain walking. She had always wanted to climb Snowdon but had never been walking up mountains before (she has a lot of experience from walking with me in the Brecon Beacons and Peak district but never been up the mountains) so this was a simple route up the PYG track and returning via the Miners track. Weather wasn't ideal as tail end of hurricane was blowing over but not too bad. She enjoyed her first trip up a mountain and wanted to try something else the following day.

Area : Snowdon Massif

Snowdon (Welsh: Yr Wyddfa) is the highest mountain in Wales, at an altitude of 1,085 metres (3,560 ft) above sea level, and the highest point in the British Isles outside Scotland. It is located in Snowdonia National Park (Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri) in Gwynedd, and has been described as "the busiest mountain in Britain". It is designated as a national nature reserve for its rare flora and fauna.
