Description

Ascent of Moel Siabod from GMC hut, via quaries and lakes and up the ridge. Descent via PYB and through forest, by river Llugwy and back to the hut.
With mum on Anniversary of my Grandma`s death and before the annual dinner to give some head space in my favourite place. With James B also.
Beautiful day with fantastic views.

Area : Moelwynion

The Moelwynion (a Welsh plural, sometimes anglicised to Moelwyns) are a group of mountains in central Snowdonia. They extend from the north-east of Porthmadog to Moel Siabod, the highest of the group. The name derives from the names of the two largest mountains in the group, Moelwyn Mawr (great white hill) and Moelwyn Bach (little white hill).
