Up from A5 towards Idwal then Llyn Bochlwyd, onto Yr Gribbin ridge, scrambling up to summit. Dad pointing out Cneifon Arete on the false summit. Birthday cake (choc swiss roll) and candles!!! Thanks to mum, with dive bombing seagulls on summit of ridge between G. Fach and G Fawr. Over past Castell y Gwynt and to top of Bristly Ridge. Down South ridge where Matt descended down to A5. Recent land slides made this difficult and we descended down the ridge to Joe Browns and then on to GMC hut.
With James B, Mum and Dad and James B on my 31st Birthday.

Glyderau
The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
