with Dad for his 60th Birthday. Dad being superfit having just dragged mum across the GR20. We did it in 15 hours. Started at Pen y Pass, crib goch wet, met group coming down Snowdon and `accidentally` going down Crib Goch. Made the steep descent to Nant Peris. Vis Good until we reached Glyder Fach then cloud came in and stayed down until we were en route to the pub after dropping off Drum. Awesome day. Used support teams at Oggie Cottage and Nant Peris (mum and GMC).
Travelled light with 10l pack.
Hit the wall on the screes above Devils Kitchen but broke on through with a Mars Bar and Scotch Egg after Dad threatened to leave me!

Glyderau
The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
