I'd managed to convince my dad to join me and my brother on our mountain outings.
The weather was very snowy, cold and icy and it was perfect conditions to test out the crampons and ice axe.
We'd started the walk near the tyn y coed pub and walked around to the south side before scrambling up in the wintery conditions.
The visibility was amazing on this occasion and made for great photos on the top, this was definitely the start of winter walking with the family, looking forward to the next snowfall.
