68(8): Bochlwyd wild camp. Group: Lizzie (8). Weather: 12°C, dry, wind: 5mph-15mph.
Lizzie's first wild camp! A short walk in over the gully above Clogwyn Bochlwyd to the flat area to the right of the Llyn (which turned out to have a fire pit in). Returned home next morning before the rain arrived in stronger winds.
Trip involved me working out how much of Lizzie's gear & food I had to carry! My 44l rucksack seems to be getting bigger on every trip, too...

Glyderau
The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
