Weather: Overcast/broken sunshine, light breeze. Showers mainly due to rain shadow from mountains to the west.
Started from Joe Brown's Capel Curig. Followed the path to Gallt Yr Ogof and Foel Goch, toward the junction with the Miner's Path. Dropped down into Cwm Tryfan, then followed Braich y Ddwycwm (shoulder of the two cwms) down to Gwern Gof Isaf and the old roman road, following Nant y Benglog back to Capel.

Glyderau
The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
