Girlfriend and I were staying in Barmouth for a few days and this was a walk we'd seen in Trail magazine. We parked the car at the carpark indicated on the map at SH616 259. We then walked up footpath along the valley towards the Rhinogs. The described route that we were following suggested a scamble from SH663 281 up Rhinog Fawr then returning before another scramble up Rhinog Fach. When we got to this point and on seeing the hills my partner was not keen at all so we changed the route slightly and aimed for the more gentle scramble up Rhinog Fach from about SH668280 which took us to the top of Rhinog Fach. We followed the path round to the summit of Y Llethr and then continued in roughly W direction to pick up the track on Moelyblithcwm. We descended back down to the valley and took the track back to the car. This was a really good day and my girlfriend (now my wife!) enjoyed it.

Rhinogydd
The Rhinogydd (a Welsh plural form, often anglicised as Rhinogs and also known by the alternative Welsh plural Rhinogau) are a range of mountains located east of Harlech in North Wales. The name Rhinogydd derives from the names of two of the more famous peaks, Rhinog Fawr and Rhinog Fach, although the greatest elevation in the range is reached by Y Llethr, 756 m.
