Description

A quick blast up Blencathra with my friend prior to WML training. Going up through Threshthwaite mouth and following scales fell up to the summit. Crampons on near the top from compacted snow of lots of footfall. We returned the same way. No views up top but it did clear as we came down. blue skies and crisp white mountains. Lots of people enjoying the conditions on the hill today.

Area : Northern Fells

Generally this is the area to the north of the A66 which runs from Penrith to Cockermouth and the town of Keswick.
