A consolidation day for winter assessment with my friend Kristina, an IML. We chose a route I wanted to take 2 'mock clients' up to practice with a few days later, the climbers traverse onto Bowfell.
Wonderful snow conditions, with crampons going on at the start of the traverse. We kicked steps. played with axes, dug pits and front pointed up the iced up great slab. Great day with stunning weather, almost no wind and blue skies. A rarety. Returned via three tarns. Crampons off at the tarns.
