Whilst not a mountain I did get to play in the snow today, the path from Keswick up through the trees at Latrigg was very icy, the night being down to about -5c. Crampons were not required on the ascent, though I did use micro crampons on the way down. The snow was light and fluffy and it was a delight to have this lovely jaunt up Latrigg. It was an easy route along the tourist path to the summit then a fun dash down the northern side to the car park below Skiddaw. From there I followed another tourist path back to the trees to the South to return to the car in Keswick.
