Description

Berwynion. 18.5km/11.5mi. Weather: Clear until 1400, then cloudy and rain. Winds: 20mph to start, then 30 gusting to 50.
A quick walk: approx 2 hours 15 to walk from the car parking at SJ017305 to Cadair Bronwen along the main ridge.
Return route: dropped down the path at 075340 to the east until I broached the Bwlch at 080337, then countoured down (offpath) below Craig Berwyn to Moel Yr Ewig, just north of Llyn Lluncaws.
Followed the path back up the steep wall to the main ridge, then returned home.
Full trip time: just over 4 hours, 35 minutes.
