Description

While taking Nanw for a walk up Tryfan, we were joined by Northampton-based Scott, a fit cyclist, in holiday at Gwern Gof Isaf, looking for a route to take his family on later in the year. We went up the North path, around the Eastern Traverse path to the summit, then back down via west gully.
Summit: 57 minutes.

Area : Glyderau

The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
