Starting from our wild camping spot below Y Llymllwyd, we headed due west, straight up to Bwlch y Cywion.
From there we walked up to Y Garn, the wind having calmed down from the previous night.
We then made our way back down the same way we went up and went across to Foel-Goch via Bwlch y Cywion.
We decided to miss out Elidir Fawr again, opting to do it another time.
We walked back over Mynydd Perfedd and over to Carnedd y Filiast and then headed straight down to where the path meets the track at the north of the Marchlyn Mawr Reservoir. This was quite a difficult way down, scrambling over boulders and avoiding holes under the heather and Bilberry bushes.
From there it was back down the track to the car at Talywaen.

Glyderau
The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
