Includes crags which are North of the A5 through the Ogwen Valley, and those approached from Bethesda. Popular crags and routes include: Craig yr Isfa (Amphitheatre Buttress, V Diff), Carreg Mianog (Cracked Arete, VS 4b), Craig Lloer (Kirkus's Route VS 5a), and the magnificent Llech Ddu.
Clwyd Mountaineering Club climbing meet. I led the crux pitch with difficulty, but a pair of stacked hexes held firm to give me confidence at the top of the crack. Baz Whales, more impressively, seconded.
