Description

This is a walk that I led for the Huddersfield Rucksack Club.
Starting at Rhyd-Ddu, taking the Southwest path from the B4418 past Drwsycoed Uchaf and into the forest.
Keeping in a Southwesterly direction through the forest and out by Bwlch-y-Ddwy-elor, then taking the path heading East by Bwlch Cwm-trwsgl.
Staying on this path till we came to the wall, then heading North to pick up another forest track around Llyn Llywelyn, then taking the track following Afon Hafod-Ruffydd-isaf and down to Hafod Ruffydd Ganol.
We then took the path down to the Welsh Highland Railway, going back into the forest, taking the South-East path and then dropping down into Beddgelert by the railway station.
11 persons.
No incidents.

Area : Nantlle & Hebog

The Nantlle Ridge is the name given to a small range of mountains in Snowdonia, north Wales which runs south-west from the village of Rhyd Ddu for a distance of about 9 km (6 mi), ending above Talysarn and Nebo in the Nantlle Valley.
