The cloud lifting and breaking during daylight hours, becoming mainly dry and bright with a small chance of fleeting isolated showers, any showers still wintry around 600m. Staying mainly dry in the evening, but with patchy low cloud possible.
CHANCE OF CLOUD-FREE MOUNTAIN/HILL TOPS AT 600MNil at first, but improving to 80% from late morning, patchy or occasional cloud, bases near or above the summits. However, 40% overnight and later in the evening, extensive cloud with bases around 600m, patches to 300m.
VISIBILITYMostly very good, but moderate in rain and very poor at times in snow.
METEOROLOGIST'S VIEWTemporary blizzard conditions possible over the tops at first, but soon improving during daylight hours. Good vis till I tackled the rocky sections from the south then vis was down to 50m.
