BCU Paddle Explore Award training and assessment. Completed assessment successfully. Training and assessment conducted at Toddbrook Reservoir and Todd Brook. Heavy rains the previous several days led to high water in the reservoir, and heavy flow on Todd Brook. Assessment completed on Monday. This was the day before the reservoir dam broke and threatening the inundation of Whaley Bridge.
