5th week of lockdown. More nature notes from the Kelvin valley & Blairskaith Moor! On Sunday we conquered the mighty Mounthullie (230m) in Lennoxtown forest & were pleased to get a view to the Campsie Fells - who thought we would have a longing for the Campsies! Dog violets are now out. Rowans coming into leaf but the one in our garden is not out yet. By the end of the week sycamore & hawthorn well out, beech & birch appearing, our oak is out & ash seems to be thinking about it.
