Description

Personal climbing after work whilst the sun is shining, so various routes on top rope but we didn’t get to the top of any but it’s a great work out for the fingers.

Area : Cheshire & Merseyside

Oh check out the bolted sandstone at Frogsmouth! Also Helsby and Frosham, where Colin Kirkus used to stop off for a bit of bouldering on his bicycle ride home to Merseyside from Helyg. Pex Hill is the other main venue in this area, plus a host of urban micro-crags giving lots of sandstone bouldering and bold leads/highball problems. The BMC Cheshire & Merseyside Sandstone guide (2012) is the most recent.
