Day 2: St Paul's All Girl Public School DofE Silver Expedition Assessment. Acted as Assessor and Assistant Leader. Assessor for one of 8 groups totaling 47 girls. As assistant leader, there were 4 Assistant Leaders covering the 8 groups. The Leader was the head of the AAP. We made decisions to revise the original expedition route based on unusually high winds on the Kinder Plateau, with gusts to 50mph. Still very windy on lower paths in the Hope and Edale valleys.
Day two started from first night's camp site at Hardhurst Farm Camp Site near Hope rail station. Route took girls 12.08km to Edale Camp site at the start of the Pennine Way Trail.
Note: I do not post photos of Youth Activities.
