Competed in the Ard Whallan Fell Race on 29th January 2022, a day marked by challenging conditions with gale-force winds. Despite the strong winds, the weather was otherwise clear and sunny, providing good visibility for the race.The course covered 12.69 km with 743 m of ascent, featuring steep climbs and fast descents. The race was tough due to the wind, especially on exposed sections, but I managed to maintain a strong pace throughout. I was thrilled to secure the win, which made the effort all the more rewarding.The combination of challenging weather, tough terrain, and competition made this race a memorable one, and getting the win was a fantastic result in these conditions.
