I completed a solo hike around the western hills, incorporating one significant effort during the route. The weather was overcast, with moderate wind providing some resistance, especially on the more exposed sections of the hills. The hike covered a total of 30.47 km with 1301 m of ascent, making it a challenging but rewarding outing. The varied terrain required careful pacing, particularly during the main effort, which added an extra layer of intensity to the hike.Despite the overcast skies, the conditions were generally favorable for a fast-paced hike, allowing me to maintain a strong average speed of 9.32 kmph. The solo nature of the hike provided a good opportunity for focus and reflection, making this a productive and enjoyable session in the hills.
