Seniors Ridge, via high path to Cwn Cnefion Mon 18/04/2015
Route
Up the waterfall towards Bochlwyd and along the shoulder of Y Gribin, to the base of the Cneifion Arête. cut across the higher balcony to join the ridge. Mixed Grade 1 scramble with sections of easier ground. Arround the 900m contour, rather than top out on Glyder Fawr I opted for the ramble down the Upper Cliff, ending up at Llyn y Cwn. From here we ascended Y Garn descending back to Idwal cottage via NE ridge.

Glyderau
The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
