Description

Mountains:⛰️ Pen-y-ghent⛰️ Snaizeholme Fell
On 16th October 2021, I competed in the Pen Y Ghent 50k Ultra, completing the course in 4 hours, 31 minutes, and 15 seconds. Despite the cloudy weather and poor visibility, which limited the scenery, it was a strong performance, and I managed to set a new course record. The route covered 50.28 km with 1476 m of ascent, taking in key peaks such as Pen-y-ghent and Snaizeholme Fell. The weather was less than ideal, with moderate winds adding to the challenge, but I maintained a solid pace throughout, with an average speed of 11.12 kmph. While the scenery didn't stand out, the race itself was a good opportunity to push hard and test my endurance and speed over longer distances. It was a satisfying result, made even better by securing the course record.
