Seconded Pete on this one after Sloe Steel. First part was lovely, second part up the chimney crack was very difficult as gear was a little more than hard won… like none. Didn’t have the ‘off width’ cams, used opposing forces and chucked wings to move up the chimney. Tried to offer solutions to Pete regarding foot placements and best one was a crystal for a left foot. Soon as this was found the climb for the final two metres was fantastic.
Following this set up a 3:1 hauling system to bring our bags up.
