Last session of the day, and again a lot of nerves in this group of children and 1 adult.
One of the parents beforehand was very cutting when we couldn't get the name of one his 2 daughters right during the brief which I gave. They then used different names throughout the session, arguing even though we knew their names by then. Must have been something in the air besides the Peregrine Falcons today.
The last 2 members were a father and daughter who were great but she froze after getting off the platform onto the wall itself. No hysterics, just very scared. I hauled her back up and after a quick discussion Mark set up a Y hang and they abseiled as a pair for the rest of the session. A great learning experience and a great way to end a long hard day.
