A great afternoon in the sun with James A to help me prepare for the RCI assessment.
We started with me rigging group abseils and top rope and him critiquing my set ups and making suggestions.
We then moved onto releasable abseils before finishing with a 3 pitch climb out, with James picking the next pitch and giving me directions on what type of belay to build at each stance.
Lots of useful suggestions, a lot of encouragement and some kind words made for a great afternoon at the crag with a mate.
