From Refuge pre de la Chaumette, steadily up to Col de la Vallette, with a few easy rocks. Then down shaly slopes to a nice relaxed lunch spot below Col de Gouiran. Over Col & round coombe then steeply up a path cut into shale to Col de Vallonpierre below Le Sirac. Down to lovely location at Refuge de Vallonpierre & a monster omelette lunch. Relaxing afternoon in a lovely setting and watching a Dipper on the lake.
