At Allt Scheicheachan bothy the overnight wind & rain had blown out and the river had fallen slightly as I left early on the good track up the allt itself & then zig zagging onto the plateau. Heading north towards Beinn Dearg, the snow patches became complete cover around 850m and led to some weary trail breaking in the mist. But the sun was not far away, it felt like a golden pea & ham soup, and I entered a clear patch at the summit, Rapidly down to the bothy, I had only been away 3.5hrs. Pack up, tidy up, saddle up and walk out for another 2 hrs.
