Description

A quick jaunt up Jack's Rake. After the heavy rain had passed, we walked along the bridleway from the BBRCC Raven Crag hut towards the Dungeon Ghyll, continued up the west side of Stickle Ghyll, crossed below the dam to continue around the east of Stickle Tarn. Although wet, we completed Jack's Rake in about 30-40 minutes, then returned via the Langdale Pikes, following the marked path down Loft Crag, White Crag and Raven Crag, back to the hut. Time taken: exactly 5 hours. weather: a couple of spitting showers at first, clearing completely. weather sunny but windy.
