A quick evening jaunt up the entertaining east ridge of Y Garn. Kept mostly to rock on the easier first section, before the main event at the top. Fortunately the winds were lower on the ascent than when I reached the path to the summit (est: 20-25mph), which made walking difficult.
Just over 2 hours.
Although storms were scheduled, they didn't arrive until after dark!

Glyderau
The Glyderau (a Welsh plural form, also known in English as the Glyders) are a mountain group in Snowdonia, North Wales. The name derives from the highest peaks in the range, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. According to Sir Ifor Williams, the word "Glyder" derives from the Welsh word "Cludair", meaning a heap of stones.
