After time off due to injury it was super to get out again and climb one of the greats! Starting from Swirls I travelled up to Browncove Crags, wearing crampons and carrying my ice axe as there was a lot of snow and ice. The rime frost looked amazing! Then onto the summit of Helvellyn I had a walk around the top before descending North off Helvellyn Lower Man then turning West to head back to Swirls beside Helvellyn Gill through deep snow. Excellent visibility all day.
